The straps are in good condition and secure but are sized for a child or maybe a small adult. The shields do have belt clips, but I don't know how secure they would be if you were running around. I put batteries in both guns and shields and played with them. You will receive 2 guns, 2 shields, and instructions. Both guns fire, reload, and make noise, or you can select the silent mode. Guns also have a Max Blast feature, equal to 3 shots, again tested and working.
Shields make noise, including warning noise after nine hits (10 hits and you lose). Shields also have blocking feature that is tested and working. There are two modes, game mode and team mode. In team mode the radar feature is active. This causes the shield to make a noise when an opponent has a laser pointed at your shield. (Both shields tested and do make this noise in team mode).
